Friends, Asking a little favor. A good friend of mine, and the former President of Froggy Carr, Mike Bachich's daughter Rose was engaged this past Christmas. She and her fiance Carl saw a contest sponsored by philly.com with the chance to "win" a free wedding valued at $90,000.00. They entered , along with about 500 other couples...there was voting involved and their family and friends voted, per contest rules, once each day for the first week..after that week the remaining couples were cut to 25 and they made the cut...and then another week of daily voting..that round just ended and they are now in the final 10. So everyone is trying to ramp up the voting by asking as many people as they can to vote. We're really excited about this and feel they have a very good chance of pulling this thing off. They are a great couple and this would be a helluva start to a beautiful life together. They are couple 2 of the 10 remaining. Out of 29 years i had to miss 2 parades and regrettfully this year is one of the missed, I am proud to say that i marched with the best and greatest bunch of guys that ever hit the street, be safe this year and remember harry simon in your thoughts and prayers, i'll be back next year.

The 2nd St parade will according to some is a go regardless...Nutter's a moron for whatever reason don't want a parade no where... We need to bond together on whatever decision we make not Nutter, it's not his parade... This parade is a tradition that goes back further then anyone can rememeber. Gotta admit your band was okay this year but some1 needs get new judges because there were atleast 4 bands that out played you guys nd every1 knows that froggy carr has the best band in the parade u get chills when u hear them play but as for your costumes u guy diserved 2 win for that part but the battle was deffinitly misjudged some1 please fix the judgin problem so the real winners are awarded for there victory nd if you guys feel you are anywhere close 2 da frogs enter the real battle in around thanksgiving...haha goodluck
